About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive market expansion and identify new business opportunities across Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and Nigeria.
  • Act as a key enabler for Sales Account Managers by managing Arabic-driven processes to progress and close deals.
  • Build and nurture a strong pipeline of qualified leads in collaboration with the inside sales team.
  • Develop strategic relationships with industry stakeholders, technology leaders, and research institutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine business development initiatives.
  • Execute strategies for entering untapped industries, with a specific focus on the Semiconductor and Electronics sectors.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of business development experience specifically within engineering simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, Siemens, Dassault Systems, Altair, or COMSOL).
  • Engineering or Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace, or a related field.
  • Strong technical understanding of ANSYS solutions, including CFD, FEA, electromagnetics, and multi-physics modeling.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.
  • Proven track record in forming strategic alliances and expanding market share.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the MENA region for client meetings and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree.
  • Strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, ideally with experience handling Synopsys or Cadence.
  • Familiarity with regional government initiatives supporting research and innovation.
  • An established professional network within the Middle East technology community.
