Sr. Banking Director

Responsibilities

• Generate new banking relationships, including loans, deposits, and fees such as swaps and investment management.
• Lead and manage a team of bankers responsible for the growth and retention of the regional banking business.
• Manage a portfolio of banking and lending clients tailored to the specific needs of the team.
• Source and participate in the development of new business through personal outreach and strategic partnerships.
• Conduct performance management, including identifying training needs and establishing performance standards for the unit.
• Partner with Banking Practice Leaders to determine staffing needs, hiring, and resource allocation.
• Develop and execute team business plans, setting goals and priorities to ensure objectives are met.
• Research potential markets and develop client referral sources to promote the bank's capabilities in banking, trust, and investments.

Requirements

• College degree required.
• At least 10 years of related experience in the banking industry.
• Proven track record in new business development and relationship management.
• Deep knowledge of credit and banking solutions.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and align departmental priorities with business objectives.
