Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies from circuit board to integrated electro-mechanical levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test engineers
  • Drive hardware improvements through benchtop, environmental, and on-aircraft testing
  • Perform root-cause investigations to rectify anomalous behavior in safety-critical environments
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and technical leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of full-lifecycle hardware development experience
  • Experience developing and simulating complex PCBAs using Altium Designer and SPICE
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to methodically diagnose and solve electronic hardware problems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in electrical or computer engineering
  • Experience with aviation development assurance standards (e.g., RTCA/DO-254)
  • Experience designing electronics for rigorous environmental standards (aerospace, military, automotive)
  • Expertise in high-speed digital, mixed-signal, RF, or power electronics design
  • Proficiency with Python or MATLAB for analysis and test scripting
