Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies from circuit board to integrated electro-mechanical levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test engineers
- Drive hardware improvements through benchtop, environmental, and on-aircraft testing
- Perform root-cause investigations to rectify anomalous behavior in safety-critical environments
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and technical leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-lifecycle hardware development experience
- Experience developing and simulating complex PCBAs using Altium Designer and SPICE
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to methodically diagnose and solve electronic hardware problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in electrical or computer engineering
- Experience with aviation development assurance standards (e.g., RTCA/DO-254)
- Experience designing electronics for rigorous environmental standards (aerospace, military, automotive)
- Expertise in high-speed digital, mixed-signal, RF, or power electronics design
- Proficiency with Python or MATLAB for analysis and test scripting
