Sr. Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing technology to automate production processes and equipment
• Program PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and inspection systems
• Manage large capital projects and budgets, potentially up to $2M
• Develop user and design requirements, select equipment vendors, and manage automation installation
• Perform validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ and compose Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
• Support production through equipment and process troubleshooting and implement efficiency improvements
• Lead Manufacturing Non-Conformance investigations and implement corrective/preventative actions (CAPA)
• Perform risk assessments and mitigation activities using systematic tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
• 2 years of relevant automation or engineering experience
• Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming
• Experience with inspection systems and validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Ability to perform risk assessments and manage technical documentation
• Strong communication skills in English
