Sr. ATLO Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of satellite programs from assembly through launch
• Review engineering drawings and schematics to identify build challenges and improve manufacturability
• Interface with technicians and quality inspectors in cleanroom environments to troubleshoot non-conformances
• Integrate, test, and troubleshoot development platforms for flight vehicles
• Act as a signature authority on test and assembly procedures and process plans
• Lead environmental testing (EMI/C, Dynamics, TVAC) and launch integration campaigns
• Drive improvements to increase production throughput and reduce build hours
• Utilize statistical and analytical tools to monitor performance metrics and product execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of related work experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or test engineering
• Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or Commercial industries
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• Expertise in areas such as spacecraft integration, mechanical integration, or systems engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in space systems
• Knowledge of satellite manufacturing engineering principles and standards
• Experience with hardware-integration tools like NI LabVIEW, DAQ hardware, or signal analyzers
• Proficiency with Python, C++, Linux, or computer network architecture
• Experience with tracking tools such as Jira, MS Project, or PLM systems
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
