Sr Associate Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and data solutions within the manufacturing data and analytics domain
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development using cloud technologies and generative AI
• Translate functional and technical requirements into software architecture and design specifications
• Develop and implement unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure software quality
• Identify and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and data engineers in an Agile and SAFe environment
• Automate tasks and develop reusable frameworks to enhance operational efficiency
• Create and maintain documentation for software architecture, deployment, and disaster recovery

Requirements

• 5 to 9 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Proficiency in the AWS ecosystem and cloud computing principles
• Strong front-end skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in React or Angular
• Expertise in Python/PySpark development, Fast API, and Databricks
• In-depth knowledge of data engineering, ETL processes, and data architecture
• Experience with API integration, microservices, and serverless architecture
• Proficiency with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git)
• Experience working within Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-assisted code development tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
• Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• AWS certifications (Cloud, Data Engineer, Developer, or Solutions Architect)
• Databricks or SAFe certifications
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
