About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing operations on the production floor, including equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting
- Maintain machine uptime by performing fault clearing and resolving stoppages on automated equipment
- Ensure all production activities are conducted in full cGMP compliance and follow safety procedures
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing staff regarding processes and equipment
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing Support to resolve manufacturing events and technical issues
- Champion Lean Transformation and Operational Excellence initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of processes and equipment qualification/validation
Requirements
- High school/GED + 4 years of biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing, process development, or quality experience
- OR Associate’s degree + 2 years of relevant biotech/pharma experience
- OR Bachelor’s degree + 6 months of relevant biotech/pharma experience
- OR a Master's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical understanding of pharmaceutical or biotech packaging equipment and processes
- Experience working within Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Proficiency with electronic manufacturing systems such as MES or SAP
- Experience with Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV)
- Background in lean manufacturing methodologies and operational excellence
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
