Sr. Associate - International Statutory Reporting

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for US GAAP and UK GAAP for UK and European entities
• Manage journal entry preparation, review, and monthly reconciliation responsibilities
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial reports, including board reporting presentations
• Oversee indirect tax compliance, including VAT reporting, reconciliation, and payment requests
• Assist with direct tax compliance and transfer pricing analyses, including intercompany reconciliations
• Facilitate and oversee the completion of financial and tax audits
• Collaborate with global Accounts Payable, Treasury, and finance teams across the US, UK, and India
• Participate in global projects to enhance controls, processes, and system efficiency

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of post-qualification experience
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and financial regulations
• Experience in financial services or an asset management organization
• Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with global teams
• High level of accuracy, detail orientation, and analytical thinking
• Ability to work flexibly across various time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Fusion, Oracle, or OneStream
• Proficiency with Power BI or other business intelligence tools
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or CoPilot
• Knowledge of UK financial regulatory requirements
