About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by selling or renewing products and services via telephone or electronic means to assigned territories and accounts
- Generate prospective customers through cold calling and qualify sales leads
- Focus on lead qualification, prospecting, and multichannel sales activities (inbound and outbound)
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry and the company's competitive posture
- Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners
- Support back-end activities including order processing, quotation generation, and delivery follow-up
- Act as a mentor or lead to more junior technical or administrative support personnel
Requirements
- 2-year college degree or equivalent experience with 3 years of functional experience
- OR High School Diploma and 5 years of functional experience
- Technical knowledge of products, systems, and services
- Ability to work under limited supervision and handle non-routine problems through analysis
- Proven ability to work independently and determine methods for new assignments
