Sr. Associate II, Analytical Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Perform complex qualitative and quantitative analyses of organic and inorganic compounds and finished products
• Investigate physical, chemical, and mechanical properties of materials, including packaging and formulation dosage forms
• Conduct research to develop or improve analytical techniques and methodologies
• Collaborate with Analytical, Formulation, Process, Packaging, and Device scientists or engineers
• Organize and interpret data using a variety of instrumental technologies
• Design studies, develop non-standard procedures, and troubleshoot moderate complexity problems
• Document experiments in laboratory notebooks or batch records in a GLP-compliant manner
• Analyze polymers and contact lenses using mechanical, thermal, rheological, surface, and permeability techniques
• Manage laboratory activities, including equipment maintenance and supplies
• Provide technical advice and mentorship to lower-level professionals

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering, or Bio-Technology
• Proven experience in technical writing and report writing
• Proficiency in synthesizing and analyzing data for Electronic Lab Notebooks
• Strong understanding of relevant ISO standards for medical device testing (extractables, leachables, biocompatibility, and toxicology)
• Knowledge of applicable USP, EP, JP, and internal NOC test methods for pharmaceutical and medical device raw materials
• Ability to work the shift of 3 PM to 12 PM (Noon) IST
