Sr Associate I, Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CMake-based build configurations for complex C++ projects
• Manage package dependencies using Conan package manager (Conan 1.X, 2)
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines for C++ applications, including automated build, test, and deployment workflows
• Create and maintain Yocto recipes for C++ applications and libraries and configure custom Linux distributions
• Optimize build times, resolve dependency conflicts, and troubleshoot build failures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions and maintain high-quality code standards
• Document build processes, development workflows, and technical implementations

Requirements

• 4-5 years of professional DevOps or Build Engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with modern CMake (3.x)
• Extensive experience with Conan package manager
• Hands-on experience with Yocto Project and embedded Linux builds
• Proven expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO) pipeline configuration
• Solid understanding of C++ compilation, linking, and toolchains
• Experience with Git version control and cross-compilation for multi-platform builds (Linux, Windows, embedded)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with containerization using Docker for build environments
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of artifact repositories like Artifactory or Nexus
• Familiarity with static analysis tools such as Clang-Tidy or SonarQube
• C++ development experience in both Windows and Linux environments
• Understanding of the German language for cross-cultural communication
