About the role

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, maintain, qualify, and repair laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, thermometers, osmometers, KF titrators, FTIR, and pH meters
  • Collaborate with scientists to troubleshoot system malfunctions and initiate repair tickets with vendors
  • Manage data entry within calibration and maintenance software
  • Assist with vendor scheduling, communications, and onsite service escorting
  • Track laboratory instrument metrics including repair downtimes, on-time completion rates, and defects
  • Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring quality control
  • Follow safety procedures for the proper handling and disposal of laboratory waste

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or technical support environment
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
  • Knowledge of GxP regulations and laboratory instrument maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of repairing HPLC PDA and mass spectrophotometer (MS) instruments
  • Familiarity with CMMS software
  • Experience working within a highly regulated Pharma R&D environment
