Sr. Associate I, Accounting & Reporting (R2R)

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) activities, including general ledger journal entries, period-end close, and group consolidation reporting.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, provisions, and adjustments accurately within agreed timelines.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with close calendars and SLAs.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Prepare and support financial statements and reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze P&L and balance sheet movements to provide meaningful explanations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to queries.
• Identify and drive process improvements, standardization, and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AP, AR, Tax, and Local Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant RTR experience in a Shared Services or multinational environment.
• Strong experience in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close activities.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and company accounting policies.
• Strong Excel skills are required.
• Proven ability to meet SLAs and KPIs with high attention to detail.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred or in progress.
• SAP closing and reporting experience is an advantage.
