About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts for members of the healthcare community, including Fee for Service, Consulting, and Sponsorships
- Oversee and process healthcare compliance-related contracting and payments for arrangements with members of the U.S. Healthcare Community
- Maintain contract documentation and ensure strict compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and internal policies
- Coordinate contract execution, distribution, and triage intake from R&D to appropriate contract managers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sourcing, accounts payable, legal, and finance to streamline financial processes
- Process invoices and reimbursements, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies with suppliers and providers
- Ensure timely payments and adherence to payment terms and healthcare regulations
- Participate in audits and assist with compliance-related activities and strategic process optimizations
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- 5-8 years of related experience in resource management, paralegal work, contracting, or financial accounting
- Proficiency with SAP software and its functionalities
- Strong knowledge of contracting and legal terminology
- Solid understanding of purchasing, supply chain procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with familiarity in research, clinical development, and medical terminology
- Experience with analytics software such as Tableau, Smartsheet, or Spotfire
- Familiarity with financial and supply chain systems like Ariba, Veeva, or Planisware
- Experience in finance, resource, or budget management including cost analysis and reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a highly cross-matrixed, fast-paced environment
