Sr. Associate, Health, Safety, & Environment Management

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, environmental, and emergency response programs
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and internal reviews to identify hazards and drive continuous improvement
• Lead incident and environmental investigations, including root cause analysis and OSHA recordkeeping
• Serve as a regulatory subject matter expert for OSHA, EPA, and environmental permit requirements
• Support the HSE Management System, including Risk Management, Contractor Safety, and Chemical Safety
• Coordinate HSE training programs and site-wide engagement initiatives for associates and contractors
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate safety throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage environmental programs including waste, recycling, and hazardous materials handling
• Act as an HSE advisor to site leadership and provide data-driven recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, laboratories, or regulated environments
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable HSE regulations
• Experience supporting audits, inspections, or regulatory compliance activities
• Professional HSE certification (e.g., CSP, ASP, CIH) or progress toward certification
