Sr. Associate - GCO FP&A Budget Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the GCO OPEX Budget Coordinator, managing monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and accrual preparation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for Obesity leadership and other Therapeutic areas
• Support the OPEX and brand finance leads with financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities
• Provide data-driven insights into performance drivers, cost trends, and business risks or opportunities
• Maintain financial master data, including cost center management and WBS creation for project tracking
• Contribute to process optimization through standardization and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Master's degree with 4-6 years of accounting or finance experience OR a Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience
• Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within global, virtual teams and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Knowledge of financial planning processes and quarter close activities
• Experience in Big 4 or Fortune 500 FP&A environments
• Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, or advanced Excel
• Proven ability to build financial models and reports
