About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead smart manufacturing technology and computerized systems initiatives, including MES, ERP, SCADA, and Systech.
- Provide technical support, project management, and problem-solving assistance for shop floor end-users.
- Act as the department lead for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and represent the site on global network initiatives.
- Support the development and review of GMP documents, including SOPs, FMEAs, Deviations, CAPA, and Change Controls.
- Assist in global harmonization activities involving system configuration, validation, and improvements.
- Use data analytics tools to tackle systematic problems and improve process efficiencies.
- Ensure effective training on new or revised digital manufacturing processes for operators and support staff.
Requirements
- High School/GED and 4 years of Manufacturing, Engineering, or Computer Science experience.
- OR Associate’s Degree and 2 years of Manufacturing, Engineering, or Computer Science experience.
- OR Bachelor’s Degree and 6 months of Manufacturing, Engineering, or Computer Science experience.
- OR Master’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational background or experience in Science, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Digital Technology, or Engineering.
- Experience with design, configuration, and validation of smart manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, SCADA, Systech, Serialization).
- Experience working in a GMP environment.
- Knowledge of deviations, investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA, and change controls.
- Strong troubleshooting skills regarding process, equipment, and computerized systems.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
