Sr Associate Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and manage large datasets related to product performance and patient complaints to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and deploy machine learning, statistical methods, and predictive models to uncover patterns and root causes in large datasets.
• Create analytics solutions and predictive models to foresee potential product issues and address customer needs.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and data visualizations to communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with software engineers to translate algorithms into commercially viable products and services.
• Work with data engineers on data quality assessment, cleansing, and analytics.
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements and process improvements based on data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 3-5 years of experience in data science, preferably in healthcare, biotech, or pharma.
• Bachelor's degree with 5-9 years of experience in data science, preferably in healthcare, biotech, or pharma.
• Diploma with 7-9 years of experience in data science, preferably in healthcare, biotech, or pharma.
• Proficiency in analytic software or languages such as Python, SQL, SAS, or Databricks.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, or similar.
• Fluency in verbal and written English to articulate complex technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in applied analytics, descriptive statistics, feature extraction, and predictive analytics.
• Experience with statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, clustering, and classification.
• Experience analyzing time-series data for forecasting and trend analysis.
• Experience working with healthcare-specific data, including patient complaints and regulatory requirements.
• Relevant certifications in Python, SAS, Salesforce, or SQL.
