Sr. Associate, Alternatives Finance and Operations

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of private investing platform mechanics, fee structures, and calculations
• Maintain books and records for fund structures, management companies, and legal entities
• Design and prepare detailed financial analysis, forecasts, and bespoke data requests
• Review capital calls, distributions, and financial reporting to limited partners
• Respond to limited partner and prospective limited partner queries
• Create financial statements and review workpapers for annual US GAAP audits
• Coordinate with tax preparers on annual tax returns and filings
• Ensure adherence to limited partner arrangements, including MFN clauses and side letters

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for complex data sets
• Experience in financial analysis and understanding fund flows in legal structures
• Experience with process improvements and internal control best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience in the private markets investment industry
• Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools and large language models
