Sr. Associate, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end close activities to ensure all reporting deadlines are met
• Prepare routine journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
• Manage both general and program-related inventory balances
• Oversee accounting for warranties and maintain a subledger to track obligations
• Review transactions to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and compliance
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Research accounting issues and propose corrective actions or transactions
• Perform special assignments and ad hoc analyses as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience (or a Graduate Degree with 0-2 years of experience)
• 2+ years of experience with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
• 2+ years of experience managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA Certification or qualification to sit for the CPA exam
• Experience working with Cost Point
• Demonstrated excellence in analytical and research skills using technology such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx
• Experience in continuous improvement and process development
