Sr. Applied AI Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business requirements and contact center architecture.
• Conduct data readiness assessments to evaluate the quality, structure, and governance of customer data assets like CRMs and knowledge bases.
• Design and configure agentic AI solutions within Amazon Connect, including prompt engineering, model selection, and tool integration.
• Architect Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns to enable multi-agent workflows across the enterprise.
• Build serverless integrations using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions to connect AI agents with backend systems.
• Guide customers through testing, evaluation, and validation of AI agent performance before production deployment.
• Share technical learnings and mentor other Solutions Architects on agentic AI implementation patterns.

Requirements

• Experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, or data & analytics.
• Proven experience in the design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructures.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, including model invocation, agent creation, and guardrails.
• Experience with Amazon Connect or other enterprise contact center platforms (e.g., Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, NICE, Five9).
• AWS certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect or a similar cloud certification.
• Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and database schema.
• Experience architecting, migrating, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives and various lines of business.

The Applied AI Solutions Architecture team is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). We act as the technical bridge between Amazon Connect customers and the service teams building the next generation of AI-powered contact center capabilities, helping customers become production-ready with Amazon Connect's advanced AI features.
