Sr. Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop agentic flows using off-the-shelf LLMs and modern harnessing methods such as tool-calling, planning, and sub-agents.
• Design, develop, and deploy LLM-driven systems for hardware design and requirement management use-cases.
• Build evaluation pipelines, design metrics, and gather data to measure and improve AI system performance.
• Benchmark models, prompts, and approaches for speed, cost, and accuracy using techniques like RAG, fine-tuning, and prompt compression.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and designers in an agile, sprint-based environment.
• Participate in the full AI product lifecycle from early-stage experimentation to production deployment.

Requirements

• Profound knowledge of LLM engineering and building/evaluating LLM-based features in production.
• Advanced Python development skills.
• Production experience with agentic loops, tool-calling, and agent orchestration.
• Experience with MCP servers and evaluation/benchmarking pipelines.
• Experience with cost and latency optimization (e.g., context compression or model cascading).
• Ability to plan experiments and execute tasks autonomously with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Production experience with synthetic test data creation, distillation, or fine-tuning models.
• Experience with stateful agentic frameworks such as LangGraph.
• Experience with building high-concurrency asynchronous services.
• Experience with hardware engineering software or developing end-to-end harnesses for agentic loops.
