About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical support and pre-sales demonstrations using Ansys Digital Mission Engineering (DME) software, specifically STK and ODTK.
  • Own customer technical challenges and proactively engage with accounts to provide comprehensive engineering solutions.
  • Conduct introductory, intermediate, and advanced technical training classes for customers in the Middle East region.
  • Architect holistic system-level solutions and workflows using tool integration, System Architecture Modeling, and Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE).
  • Develop simulation best practices, solutions, and FAQs to contribute to the internal knowledge base.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in multidomain mission engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional experience level: BS+10 years, MS+6 years, or PhD+3 years.
  • Proven expertise in Ansys DME software (STK, ODTK) and knowledge of multiphysics tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of satellite orbits, space mission design, aircraft systems, or UAV design.
  • Experience working within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Proficiency in Python or MATLAB scripting.
  • Fluent English communication skills, including the ability to present to customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • STK/ODTK Certification from AGI.
  • Knowledge of other Ansys products such as ModelCenter, SCADE, or medini.
  • Experience with SysML development and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Astrodynamics (orbital mechanics, trajectory optimization) and Flight Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with Radar Systems principles and simulation.
  • Experience with the automation, extension, or customization of STK.
