About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical support and pre-sales demonstrations using Ansys Digital Mission Engineering (DME) software, specifically STK and ODTK.
- Own customer technical challenges and proactively engage with accounts to provide comprehensive engineering solutions.
- Conduct introductory, intermediate, and advanced training classes for customers in the Middle East region.
- Architect and develop holistic system-level solutions using tool integration, System Architecture Modeling, and Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE).
- Develop simulation best practices, solutions, and FAQs to contribute to the internal knowledge base.
- Act as a subject matter expert in multidomain mission engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience with a BS, 6+ years with an MS, or 3+ years with a PhD.
- Proven experience with Ansys DME software (STK, ODTK) and knowledge of multiphysics tools.
- Working knowledge of satellite orbits, space mission design, aircraft systems, or UAV design.
- Proficiency in Python or MATLAB scripting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present to customers in fluent English.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- STK/ODTK Certification from AGI.
- Experience with Ansys products such as ModelCenter, SCADE, or medini.
- Expertise in Astrodynamics (orbital mechanics, trajectory optimization) and Flight Dynamics.
- Experience with SysML development and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Knowledge of Radar Systems principles and multiphysics simulations (aero-thermo-structural, electromagnetics).
- Experience with space launch vehicles, satellites, or defense systems.
