About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical and business tasks to support production factories and programs to ensure schedule adherence and prevent work stoppages.
  • Evaluate and coordinate training needs to improve metrics, system accuracy, and process flows regarding assemblies and material availability.
  • Support analysis of complex Bills of Material in an MRP system, including releasing work orders and tracking material through the assembly process.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering to mitigate potential production slips.
  • Control on-hand material through its entire life cycle, including issuing to work orders, returns to suppliers, and shipping to customers.
  • Lead projects and teams to accomplish continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience within Supply Chain Production Control and/or Production control scheduling.
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government security clearance prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with special program access or other enterprise planning systems.
  • Experience with Government and Depot type processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, including formula application and pivot tables, and MS Office 365 applications.
  • Experience reading and evaluating parts lists for production work and utilizing production planning systems.
