Sr Analyst - Real estate JCIB

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated portfolio of Japanese corporate credit customers and perform regular due diligence and scheduled reviews
• Analyze credit risk to determine accurate ratings and make recommendations to management
• Prepare detailed credit analysis and applications in accordance with US Credit Policy and JCB Credit Operating Manual
• Utilize cash flow modeling to evaluate borrower industry, business, legal, and financial risks
• Assess risk for standard bank products including loans, stand-by LC, trade finance, forex, and derivatives
• Oversee covenant compliance, facility due dates, and reporting requirements
• Coordinate and communicate account information to internal auditors and external regulators such as the FRB, FSA, and BOJ
• Identify structural risks in prospective transactions and advise relationship managers on credit risk issues and terms

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in financial institutions, specifically in accounting or financial analysis
• MBA in Finance, CA, or CFA degree
• Strong cash flow modeling skills and understanding of assigned industries
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Japanese language skills are preferred
