Sr. Analyst, Materials Planning, SIOP

Responsibilities

• Drive material planning and execution by leveraging MRP to determine requirements and balance inventory health with program schedules.
• Manage build execution from kit to completion by driving warehouse material requests, releasing work orders, and tracking assemblies.
• Initiate and manage procurement activities through the timely release of purchase requisitions in partnership with Supply Chain.
• Assess raw material positions and prepare detailed analyses to inform leadership and Integrated Product Teams of manufacturing risks.
• Maintain production accuracy by performing hardware cycle counts and verifying sub-assembly availability at point of use.
• Coordinate end-of-month outbound shipments with Logistics to ensure compliance with contractual and export requirements.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in production control, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or material management.
• Experience working with MRP/ERP systems to analyze requirements and monitor material flow.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance.
• Ability to perform onsite work in Goleta, CA, including walking between buildings and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma methodology (CORE) or Lean manufacturing tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• Experience collaborating with all levels of an organization and communicating with external customers.
