About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma tools
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify operational inefficiencies and implement robust solutions
- Develop and execute Factory 4.0 strategies, including digital workflows, automation, and smart manufacturing technologies
- Analyze production data to identify trends, constraints, and improvement opportunities
- Support the creation of standard work, process documentation, and performance metrics
- Train and mentor team members to build a strong continuous improvement culture
- Lead Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and structured problem-solving sessions
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure effective solution integration
Requirements
- STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with data visualization tools and digital manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, IIoT, Power BI)
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher with experience leading Kaizen events
- Proficiency with simulation, time studies, and ergonomic analysis
- Knowledge of automation, sensors, and Industry 4.0 technologies
- Experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing environments
