Sr Advanced Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and innovation for tooling solutions within the ANTHEM network switch tools division.
• Shape the direction of software development within Honeywell Aerospace to deliver reliable aerospace products.
• Collaborate with business leaders, Lead Architects, and technology teams to align architecture with strategic goals and industry best practices.
• Identify technical opportunities and address challenges regarding scalability, security, and compliance.
• Support team development by recruiting talent, identifying successors, and fostering an inclusive culture.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, delivering scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions.
• Expertise in C#, .NET, advanced data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and multithreading.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and C++ development/debugging.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI for software development, testing, and engineering productivity.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and cloud computing.
• Experience with avionics communication protocols, network configuration, and system integration.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as OpenShift, Bamboo, Octopus, Grafana Loki, and LaunchDarkly.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of EPIC product architecture, Anthem tools, and the Thunderbolt platform.
