Sr Advanced Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive advanced quality engineering initiatives to improve product quality and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues
• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (STEM)
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or advanced quality roles within manufacturing
• Strong expertise in quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies
• Proficiency in data analysis software and quality management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical fields
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the aerospace industry
• Ability to mentor and develop junior quality engineers
