About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement manufacturing plans for new products in alignment with product roadmaps and NPDI programs.
  • Oversee End of Line (EOL) testing equipment, including parameters, scripts, and associated capital expenditures.
  • Drive the identification, piloting, and commissioning of advanced manufacturing technologies and digital factory initiatives.
  • Provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.
  • Manage capital projects related to growth, technical capacity, and facility layout.
  • Conduct manufactured cost analyses for new and existing products.
  • Lead manufacturing prototype builds to achieve rapid turnaround times.
  • Implement best manufacturing practices and provide multi-site engineering support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Operations Management.
  • 5-7 years of manufacturing experience (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma applications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent for facility and production line layout development.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly and fabrication processes.
  • Proven project management and technical analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MSME/IE) or MBA.
  • Formal Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certifications.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP software and Material Requirements Planning.
  • Experience supporting the manufacturing of system-level configured products containing controls and HMIs.
  • Experience compiling and submitting Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs).
