Sr Advanced Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data engineering principles and target models for EDW engagements to achieve a unified data view.
• Build robust, secure, and scalable data architectures using modern engineering platforms and industry best practices.
• Develop data pipelines following strict standards, guidelines, and data governance rules.
• Innovate and implement continuous improvement initiatives to simplify workflows and enhance scalability.
• Partner with IT support teams on production processes, deployments, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain high code quality.

Requirements

• 9+ years of relevant experience in data engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, large dataset joining, and performance optimization.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, including virtual warehouses and semi-structured data handling.
• Extensive ETL/ELT experience, specifically with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Service (IICS).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java for automation and custom application building.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
