Sr Accountant

Responsibilities

• Own and drive month-end close for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness under US GAAP/IFRS
• Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure proper classification and compliance
• Implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure data integrity
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Prepare and support the external audit process
• Identify and lead process improvements and automation initiatives, including ERP enhancements
• Collaborate with global teams to support consolidated reporting and internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3 to 5 years of experience in month-end closing, financial reporting, or GL Accounting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience is a strong plus) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex accounting areas, specifically lease accounting
• Prior experience with SOX controls
