About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive programmatic demand strategy and optimize buyer performance for advertiser campaigns across the FreeWheel Marketplace.
- Partner with Agency Sales, DSP Account Managers, and Demand Integrations to optimize buying strategies and campaign activation.
- Analyze demand partner performance and provide data-driven recommendations to improve delivery, inventory utilization, and revenue.
- Manage relationships across independent agencies, agency holding companies, and DSP partners.
- Collaborate with Product and Sales Marketing teams to roll out new programmatic products and capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance on demand activation, bid stream optimization, and marketplace dynamics.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for programmatic issues including deal setup and DSP integration.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in account management or partner-facing roles within ad tech.
- Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including DSP buying behavior, SSP dynamics, and auction mechanics.
- Proven experience managing strategic relationships with DSPs, agencies, or enterprise demand-side clients.
- Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools such as Looker or Tableau.
- Experience using Salesforce and other ad tech platforms.
- Strong consultative communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with major DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon, or Yahoo.
- Familiarity with programmatic deal structures including PMP, PG, and Open Exchange.
- Understanding of CTV supply dynamics and publisher inventory packaging.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to automate workflows or reporting tasks.
