SQL Server Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of database systems to ensure high availability
• Conduct database tuning and optimization to meet performance levels and SLAs
• Plan and execute proactive preventative maintenance across the MSSQL landscape
• Remediate vulnerabilities identified by the Vulnerability Mitigation Team
• Provide out-of-hours support as part of an on-call rota
• Maintain technical documentation and change procedures for database systems
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and enforce data governance policies

Requirements

• Experience working in a support role (internal or external)
• Experience contributing to a distributed team
• Exposure to MSSQL
• Experience working with both physical and virtual environments
• Must hold active SC Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerShell
