SQL Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
• Design and maintain database systems to ensure data integrity and performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver database solutions
• Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with database best practices and security standards
• Support data migration, data integration, and ETL processes
• Provide technical support and resolve database-related issues
• Document database designs, configurations, and code changes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8-10 years of proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of database design, data modelling, and normalization
• Proven experience with performance tuning and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools
• Deep understanding of database security practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Middle East or South Asia region
• Familiarity with cloud database services such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database
• Professional certification in SQL, Azure, or database management
