Sprinkler Service Fitter

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair fire sprinkler systems
• Follow safety regulations and wear required safety equipment
• Adhere to company and industry standardized practices
• Complete work tickets and maintain accurate documentation including timesheets and inspection reports
• Solve practical problems and develop action plans
• Train and coach fire sprinkler apprentices
• Attend training, safety, and education meetings

Requirements

• 5+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience
• Knowledge of NFPA13, NFPA25, and California Fire Code
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements
• Ability to drive a company vehicle to various job sites
• Proficiency with electrical and mechanical tools including saws, wrenches, cutting torches, drills, and pipe threaders
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and product specification sheets
• Knowledge of operating pipe threading machines
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Cal Fire fitter certification
