Sprinkler Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on life safety product lines including electrical and sprinkler systems
• Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals
• Complete and archive inspection documentation via laptop
• Perform minor repairs and programming changes under supervision
• Follow structured inspection schedules and adhere to all safety guidelines

Requirements

• 5-10 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems
• Valid RME-I License (Texas Department of Insurance requirement)
• Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
• Skilled with hand tools and multi-meters
• Physical ability to lift/move 50-70 lbs and work in challenging spaces (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, ceilings)
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Flexibility to work on-call, nights, weekends, and travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous repair experience
• Backflow Certification
• NICET Level II Certification
