Spot Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate yard trucks safely for drop and hook and staging scenarios involving loaded and empty trailers
• Spot loaded and unloaded trailers at assigned dock spaces for loading or unloading
• Spot trailers on the lot and perform some local runs
• Perform daily inspections on the spotter truck and equipment
• Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle/equipment damage
• Maintain accurate logs of trailer movements and fuel usage
• Check trailer inventory and report irregularities on log forms

Requirements

• Must possess a valid CDL Class A License
• Ability to operate yard trucks and perform daily equipment inspections
• Availability to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
