About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support officials and coaches during practice and games
- Solve and report any problems on site
- Promote and support the recruitment of volunteers and assist with training and development
- Set up facilities, including opening and closing the building
- Ensure the game site is safe, clean, and secure
- Implement first aid and safety procedures according to Association policies
Requirements
- Knowledge of rules and policies in soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, and baseball
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Availability to work Saturdays during summer and weekday evenings/Saturdays in spring and fall
- Ability to pass reference checks, drug screens, background checks, and sex offender checks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a sports referee
- General knowledge of fitness and wellness
