Requirements
High school diploma or GED, Knowledge of sports rules (soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, baseball), Saturday and weekday evening availability, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, Strong communication and organizational skills
About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support officials and coaches during practice and games
- Solve and report any problems on site
- Promote and support the recruitment of volunteers and assist with training and development
- Set up facilities, including opening and closing the building
- Ensure the game site is safe, clean, and secure
- Implement first aid and safety procedures according to Association policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of rules and policies in soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, and baseball
- Availability to work Saturdays (8:00am-5:00pm) and some weekday evenings (4:30pm-9:00pm)
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass background, drug, and sex offender checks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a sports referee
- General knowledge of fitness and wellness
