Sports Performance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Oversee the collection and interpretation of biometric, physiological, and performance data for high-performance athletes
• Manage video analysis from fixtures, training, and performance testing to support individual and team development
• Create and maintain custom dashboards using Power BI, TeamBuildr, and VALD to track performance trends
• Collaborate with coaches to build performance profiles and deliver tailored feedback to athletes and parents
• Produce monthly reports analyzing wellbeing, load, attendance, and performance data to identify areas for intervention
• Create visual and video-based coaching content, including highlight reels and tactical breakdown clips
• Implement emerging technologies and AI tools to enhance player tracking and auto-tagging capabilities
• Support the development of digital portfolios for athletes seeking scholarships or external opportunities

Requirements

• Degree in Sports Science, Performance Analysis, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience working in a school, academy, or professional sport setting in a performance analysis or data role
• Proficiency in performance software such as HUDL and VALD
• Proficiency in data visualization platforms like Power BI
• Strong understanding of athlete monitoring systems, video tagging, and load management
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to coaches, athletes, and parents
