Sports Pastor

Responsibilities

• Reinforce the mission of Stars to connect the community to CCV
• Build relationships with Stars families and coaches
• Recruit, train, and guide coaches and volunteers
• Implement and execute leagues and camps, including scheduling and logistics
• Communicate updates and promotions to families
• Manage facility readiness, equipment inventory, and minor repairs
• Support volunteer coaches during practices and games
• Connect with local community, schools, and city functions

Requirements

• Alignment with CCV core values and spiritual practices
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities
• Ability to multitask across multiple sports seasons
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Availability for a variable schedule including nights and Saturdays

Preferred Qualifications

• College experience
• Previous leadership experience
• Coaching or Stars ministry experience
