Sports Pastor

Responsibilities

• Lead the area club soccer program, implementing policies and standards
• Recruit and manage coaches, managers, and trainers
• Oversee technical development of players, teams, and coaches
• Manage practice and game scheduling and secure referees
• Lead ministry efforts to build relationships with families and coaches
• Support volunteer recruitment and training for various recreational sports
• Manage facility readiness, equipment inventory, and minor repairs
• Coordinate field usage and scheduling with leadership

Requirements

• Alignment with CCV core values and engagement in CCV Next Steps
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage administrative details
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work a variable schedule including nights and Saturdays

Preferred Qualifications

• College experience
• Previous leadership experience
• Club coaching experience or US Soccer coach licenses
• Experience with CCV Stars
