About the role
Responsibilities
- Reinforce the mission of Stars to connect the community to CCV
- Build relationships with Stars families and coaches
- Recruit, train, and guide coaches and volunteers
- Implement and execute leagues and camps, including scheduling and logistics
- Communicate updates and promotions to families
- Manage facility readiness, equipment inventory, and minor repairs
- Support volunteer coaches during practices and games
Requirements
- Alignment with CCV core values and spiritual practices
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities
- Ability to multitask across multiple sports seasons
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Availability for a variable schedule including nights and Saturdays
Preferred Qualifications
- College experience
- Previous leadership experience
- Coaching or Stars ministry experience
