About the role
Responsibilities
- Officiate all assigned games
- Maintain knowledge of rules and policies for basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, and baseball
- Keep playing areas safe and clear of obstructions
- Serve as scorekeeper and assist with equipment set-up and take-down
- Maintain appropriate records and report incidents or injuries
- Supervise and interact positively with large groups of participants
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of rules for various sports (basketball, baseball, football, soccer, volleyball)
- Availability for weeknights and weekends
- Ability to commit to at least 2 sports seasons
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass background, drug, and sex offender checks
