About the role
Responsibilities
- Officiate youth sports games including basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, and baseball
- Uphold the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, respect, and faith
- Maintain a neat appearance and professional demeanor
Requirements
- Knowledge of rules and policies for various sports (basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, baseball)
- Availability to work Saturdays (8:00am - 6:00pm) and select weekdays (4:30pm - 9:00pm)
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass a drug screen, criminal background check, and sex offender registry check
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a sports referee
