Sports Medicine Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions
• Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient’s needs
• Collaborate with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care
• Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery protocols, and overall wellness
• Perform non-surgical interventions such as injections when appropriate
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
• Stay updated with the latest advances in sports medicine and participate in community outreach

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency training in Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, or a related field
• Board certification in Sports Medicine
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in sports medicine
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia or willingness to obtain one
