Sports Medicine Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized medical care in sports medicine to student-athletes.
• Perform medical evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up for sports-related injuries.
• Deliver general medical care to student-athletes as required.
• Design and implement injury prevention strategies and health promotion programs.
• Conduct functional assessments, physical tests, and medical-sports evaluations to support training and performance planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine (Licenciatura en Medicina) with valid professional title and license (título y cédula profesional).
• Specialty in Sports Medicine.
• Proven experience in athlete care and managing sports injuries.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary health and sports performance teams.
• Knowledge of emergency medical management.
• Availability to travel and collaborate in various sporting environments.
