Sports Crew

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and reset gyms, fields, and courts for scheduled sports programs and events
• Maintain cleanliness of program areas, including light custodial tasks like trash removal and floor care
• Support positive interactions with youth, coaches, officials, and spectators
• Ensure programs run safely and smoothly in alignment with YMCA policies and youth development values
• Adhere to all organizational policies regarding abuse prevention and mandatory training

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with families and staff
• Experience participating in, assisting with, or supporting organized sports or physical activity programs
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen certification (provided upon hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience coaching, officiating, or supporting youth sports programs such as basketball, soccer, or flag football
